The Bestgate Corridor stretches from Rt. 50 to General's Highway. At one end, you'll find the sub-divisions of Tidewater Colony, Windgate, Riverage, Sea Breeze, Admirals Reach, Scotts Crossing and Creekside Cove. At the other end of Bestgate you'll find the Annapolis Mall (Nordstrom, JC Penney, Sears, Lord & Taylor, Pottery Barn, Crate & Barrel, Hudson Trail Outfitters, Bow-Tie Cinemas, and much, much more!!!).
Tidewater Colony consists of townhomes and condominiums (sometimes call "garden units"). Windgate also is a mix of townhome and condominium living. Riverage is condos only. Sea Breeze consists of single level and two-level condos have a townhome-like profile. Scotts Crossing is garden units only and has floor plans similar to Tidewater Colony (both having been developed by the same firm). Admirals Reach consists of condominiums only.
If you're looking for amenities, you'll find that Tidewater Colony and Admirals Reach are the only two Bestgate Corridor communities with a club house, pool, tennis courts, work facility and more. At Windgate, Rivergate, Sea Breeze and Scotts Crossing, you'll need to go off property and utilize nearby facilities to workout.
Asking prices for garden units along the corridor range from a low of $225K to a high of 300K. Asking prices for townhomes along the corridor start at about $350K and up. Most garden units are two bedrooms with two baths (while a few are three bedrooms and several are multi-level with garages and internal elevators). Most townhomes are three bedroom with two and one-half baths and are three levels (some have garages).
