Windgate consists of a well planned mix of townhomes and condominiums built between 1995 and 1998 by Pulte Homes. The community is located in Annapolis, Maryland minutes off Rt. 50 and a short distance from downtown Annapolis and other local attractions. There are townhomes with and without garages. Condominiues are mainly two bedroom two bath units. Most of the top floor condos also were built with a loft accessed via a sprial staircase (those few without lofts have vaulted ceilings instead).
The townhomes are all about 1,800 sq. feet. There were basically two different floor plans, one an open floor plan "country kitchen" style and the other floor plan with a formal dining area and eat-in kitchen. All townhomes offer three levels of living with the living room, dining room, and kitchen on the main level, bedrooms upstairs and a family room or another bedroom downstairs (some with an additional third bath of the lower level) and utility room with laundry area and some storage. Some townhomes have walkout basements, but most don't and it depends where the property is and the topography of the site. Townhomes with one-car garages have about the same living space as those without a garage.
The condos are about 1,100 sq. feet. There are two layouts, one a three bedroom, two bath arrangement for end-of-group units and most are two bedroom, two bath floor plans. All have an open living room combined with a dining area and a galley kitchen off to the side. Top floor units have lofts reached by a spiral staircase. There were several buildings where a lower level "basement" condo is located. These units are on the backs of several buildings and offer patios (rather than a balcony) and back to the woods. Pets size restrictions apply for the condos - so ask about your pet before buying!

There has been one townhomes sold within the last 90 days. The sales price was $357,000. The avearge days on market is 130 for actives and 122 for solds.
